Staff of New Parents Services

Veronique Burke,
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston in 1991. I have always had a special interest in issues related to the early parenting years and I have specialized in the treatment of pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders. I have dedicated my work to developing services and support for healthy pregnancy and transition to parenthood in developing the Beyond the Baby Blues program and the Listening Mothers program.

Louise Harris, MC, LMHC

I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for eleven years.  My undergraduate degree is in elementary education and I earned Master’s in Counseling at Seattle University in 1993.  With a teaching background and many years providing therapy to children and families, I have a strong awareness of the importance of healthy infant attachment.  Helping new parents with mood and adjustment concerns in this branch of Family Services brings together my skills and experience.  I thoroughly enjoy helping families during this vital time of transition.

Elaine J. Webster, MA, LMHC

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle University in 1990.  I have been a child mental health specialist since 1992.  My training has prepared me to work with a variety of issues including parent-child attachment, anxiety, depression, and psychological trauma.  I am interested in supporting parents during the complex and challenging time of early parenthood so they are better able to create a healthy bond with their infants.
