Intake Therapist - Multicultural Counseling Services

Multicultural Counseling Services is currently seeking a full-time Intake Therapist. This is a rare opportunity to provide psychotherapy counseling. Experience and desire to work with a diverse clientele, provide depth-focused counseling, and maintains programs intake/outreach scheduling operations.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field, including clinical internship
  • Washington State registered counselor required
  • Washington State License preferred
  • Training and experience in working with a diverse client base
  • Ability to work with children, adults, couples and families
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work evening appointments contingent upon number of clients seen and client need.  Must have insured, reliable auto and the willingness to work at two locations

Preferred consideration will be given to applicants with

  • Experience with Filipino culture, children, minority, or aging issues
  • Client Assessment & referral, crisis response, substance treatment, and teamwork experience
  • Experience providing quality customer service/public relations

Hours: Full-time M - F, includes some evening hours

Hiring Range: $39,617 to $50,622 DOQ   Plus Full-time Benefits (medical, dental, vision, long term disability insurance, wellness program, EAP benefit, retirement plan, vacation, holiday, sick leave, and section 125 Flex Plan) Unlicensed: $30,101 to $37,184 DOQ Plus benefits as above.
