Therapist - Multicultural Counseling Services

Full Time

Family Services Clinical and Training Services is offering an Extern Therapist opportunity to masters degreed counselors who wish to have clinical supervision qualifying towards licensure in Washington in a psychodynamic clinical practice.  This Externship is available in the Multicultural Counseling Services Program.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field, including clinical internship

  • Training and experience in working with a diverse client base

  • Ability to work with children, adults, couples and families

  • Ability to work independently

  • Flexibility, willingness to develop and expand skills

  • Must have insured, reliable auto and the willingness to work at 2 locations

  • Registered Counselor

Preferred consideration will be given to applicants with:

  • Bilingual (American Sign, African, Southeast Asian/Pacific Islander, or Spanish languages)

  • Experience with children, minority, or aging issues

  • Interest in developing skills as a psychodynamic therapist

  • Client assessment and referral, crisis response, substance treatment, and team work experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, includes some evenings 

Hiring Range: $10.00 Per hour Plus full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision, long term disability insurance, wellness program, EAP benefit, retirement plan, vacation, holiday, sick leave, and section 125 Flex Plan)
