Participant Objectives

Identify your

pattern of abusive/violent/controlling behaviors used to gain and maintain power/control of your intimate partner(s), past and present

beliefs that create and continue your pattern of abusive/violent/controlling behaviors

Accept responsibility for your choice to use abusive/violent/controlling behaviors against your intimate partner
-
Learn respectful behaviors as options (words, actions) for responding to your intimate partner(s) (past, present and future), children/adolescents, and others
-
Develop and identify beliefs that support your non-violent/non-abusive/non-controlling behaviors and begin to use these new beliefs to make choices about how to respond to your intimate partner(s), children/adolescents and others.

Demonstrate that you use respectful behaviors with the victim, intimate partner(s), children and others.
