Anger Management
Family Services Community Violence Prevention Services offers Anger Management classes for men and women who are court-ordered to attend such a program. These eight-hour classes are designed exclusively for individuals who have difficulty with anger in situations that are not related to intimate partners or former partners.
Individuals are often referred to this type of program following arrests for road rage and incidents in the workplace or with neighbors. This class addresses communication skills, stress reduction, conflict management techniques, awareness of the impact of anger on themselves and others, and health implications of anger problems.
The class will be offered as two 4-hour sessions. The next available classes are scheduled for the following dates:
Wednesday, December 13 & 20, 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The total cost for this class is $150. Individuals wishing to attend need to call our office to register and prepay. Prepayment is required 1 week prior to scheduled class.
